1, because 9/10 of them are garbage at it [and at least one dead-dead?] and

2, We are NOT sending Taln back, please he very much needs a break til the end of time, let him get care for all he's done and all that was done to him.

So... what then? If "The old Oaths must be spoken Anew", does this also mean re-binding Odium because his fetters have become too loose/weak?

...

Also is anyone else afraid Odium will choose Gavinor as his champion, as a bid to either insta-win, draw, or draw out this war longer?

The post WaT herald therapy sessions are going to be so wild from Kaladin's POV.

Like first we have Chana, who is going to end up sobbing admitting that she selfishly tried to kill her daughter and set her up as replacement for herself. Then Kaladin is going to learn that said daughter is Shallan. HIS Shallan.

Then he's gonna be helping out Battar and she's gonna mention spiking some guy for Odium and it's gonna turn out to be Moash, who Kaladin last saw when he murdered Teft.

Then while talking to Nale they are gonna circle back to the Davar family and talk about Helaran being sent to kill Amaram to THEN have Kalak jump in and mention that he told Amaram to enslave the soldier who killed Helaran so Amaram could take the shards. Said soldier being KALADIN HIMSELF.

Like, our boy is going to discover that a bunch of his life's messes are due to the meddling of his new immortal coworkers.

fave thing is when people draw kaladin with perfect hair. curtain bangs and face framing layers and the perfect blowout. captain handsome reporting for duty always. herald of kings, wind, second chances, and fresh blowouts.

i don't know what's funnier after finishing WaT kaladin being named after kalak (and now they cant make his name symmetrical or we'd just have kalak 2)

or chana intentionally naming her daughter after the specific fellow herald who hates any form of worship of her
